Data & Analytics Strategy and Leadership Certificate
CDAO Exchange is partnering with Southern Methodist University, a prestigious nationally ranked research university in Dallas, to assist you in developing and growing your team members whom you have identified for leadership roles within your organization.
Why you need to Develop your D&A Leadership Team Now
Today CDAO’s are simultaneously challenged by a significant skills shortage, retaining talent and developing a leadership bench for the future. Recent research by a variety of sources conclude that investing in developing your internal talent is critical to both talent retention and recruitment and is also more cost effective than acquiring talent externally. Some key statistics to consider
51% of employees are considering a new job*
72% of employees are driven by career advancement opportunities, the #1 reason people change jobs*
Turnover costs organizations 16-213% of the lost employee’s salary*
87% of employers say that improving retention is mission critical*
As your organization’s D&A leader, mentor and employee advocate it is essential to demonstrate that you support investing in your team members’ personal growth and future success.
This certificate program has been designed by SMU to allow your selected team members to join you in Dallas during the CDAO Exchange. While you are at the Exchange, they will participate in a program at SMU campus that specifically focuses on developing their strategy and leadership skills. As their mentor, your team members will be given the opportunity to connect with you each day to discuss what they have learned so that you may put their lessons into a context that is in line with your own organization. At the end of the program your team members will receive an SMU executive certificate.
