Thomas Dunlap

Chief Data Officer, Information Services Division London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG)

Tom Dunlap joined the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) in 2018 as Chief Data Officer (CDO) for its Information Services Division, including global index provider FTSE Russell. As CDO he develops and leads the division’s global data strategy, overseeing a global team across multiple sites, engaging with key clients and working collaboratively across LSEG business, operations and technology areas to drive future growth within a firm-wide data governance framework.

Tom has nearly 30 years of financial services industry experience across a wide range of data management and operations leadership roles. Prior to LSEG, Tom was a senior consultant and advisor to Raymond James Financial and fintech company Lingotek and before that spent 18 years with Goldman Sachs in a variety of operations and data leadership assignments, most recently as Managing Director of operations and global head of the firm’s enterprise data strategy and reference data operations. Before joining Goldman Sachs, Tom was a Vice President in the Worldwide Securities Services Division at Citibank.

Tom is also a member of the Financial Research Advisory Committee of the US Treasury Department’s Office of Financial Research, the Enterprise Data Management Council, and the Advisory Board of New Vantage Partners.
