Phil leads DS&S’s industry efforts and strategy and helps drive the group’s 3 focus areas: Customer Experience Excellence & Life-Time Value; Sustainability & Net-Zero; and AI activation. He is also responsible for outbound operations management support spanning marketing, direct and channel sales; pricing; contracts; and he drives key, strategic, customer-facing sales engagements. He brings to DS&S a wealth of experience cutting across top-tier strategy consulting and operating experience, as well as depth in multiple disciplines from strategy and marketing to product management and front-line performance management.

Prior to TCS, Phil was VP Strategy & Analytics at PCD, a mobile device distributor, where, with the CEO, he spearheaded a corporate transformation centered on leveraging analytics to streamline operations and improve PCD’s ability to serve its customers.

Prior to PCD, Phil was a Senior Executive Advisor at Katzenbach Partners and at Booz & Company, where he originated and led engagements delivering transformational digital businesses for new vanguard clients across various industries, including technology, telecom, payments and retail. Phil’s strategy consulting pedigree was honed first at Monitor Group. While at Monitor, he led the firm’s North American IT/ tech/ telecom practice, counseling CxOs on engagements ranging across strategy, industry evolution, M&A, partnering, marketing, and product management. Complementing Phil’s core focus on the technology sector at Monitor, Phil also served clients in multiple industries, ranging from financial services to utilities to pharmaceuticals.

Phil’s operating background – in addition to PCD and TCS – includes being Chief Strategy / M&A Officer and SVP Product Management at Onyx Software; and he also spent multiple years at a Xerox subsidiary, beginning as an electrical engineer; ultimately leading product development, product management, marketing and operations.

Mr. Minasian holds a BA in political science and a BS in electrical engineering from Tufts University and completed an MSc. business management program at Boston University's Center for Technology & Policy.
