What You Missed at IA Week Digital
From August 4-14, over 2000 attendees logged onto Intelligent Automation Week Digital. For nine days, attendees from around the globe participated in this cross-functional, cross-vertical, cross-maturity digital networking, thought leadership and interactive content multimedia extravaganza. If you missed out, I have some good news and bad news. The bad news is that the greatest benefit of the event – that it was LIVE – is over. The good news is that we’ll be re-connecting again this December.
What did you miss at August’s IA Week Digital?
1. Keynotes, Case Studies and Executive Speakers - LIVE
The true benefit of watching live was being able to ask pressing business questions to the speakers in real time. The attendees of IA Week Digital received executive feedback from companies like JP Morgan Chase, Schneider Electric, Metlife, and Microsoft. Not to mention our Keynote speaker, Captain Hassan Tetteh, the Health Mission Chief for the DoD’s Joint AI Centre! This live Q+A capability was particularly useful when discussing the applicability of leading use cases, such as how Banorte’s analytics Program was transformed into a $3 Billion profit generator.

2. Virtual Genius Bar and Happy Hour Conversations with Senior Automation Thought Leaders
The Virtual Genius Bars were a new addition the Intelligent Automation Network’s digital events. Cargill, Westrock, GM Financial, First Citizens Bank and Molson Coors Beverage all participated as expert thought leaders across topics such as Women in IA, Scaling Automation, Audit and Risk, and Citizen Development. Then, at the end of a long day, attendees could relax with a drink in hand and chat with our very own Chairman, Henry Lyles. The Director of Intelligent Automation at McDonald’s, Henry has been a long time attendee and contributor to the IA events, so he understands the importance of networking, even if it’s from your own home!

3. Cheat Sheets on the Hottest Topics
From implementing a best in class COE to using automation for next-gen service delivery and leveraging machine learning for actionable insights, our sketch-artist assembled the best annotated notes so our attendees could focus on the conversation at hand. Drawing in real-time, these sketches are part poster and part cheat-sheet for the biggest business challenges driving automation today!

4. Prizes, Prizes, Prizes
We had prizes galore for those participating in our interactive discussion groups, demo drives and happy hours. Just some of our prizes included Smart Watches, Amazon Giftcards, Airpods and $1000! Congratulations to our grand prize winners; Manasa Kayati, Darren Torres and Elwira Pyk Pyk who respectively won first, second, and third place for being the most engaged at IA Week Digital. 5. A Virtual Expo Hall with Tangible Value
Intelligent Automation events don’t just deliver market-leading content. It’s where business happens. With over 30 service providers in our expo hall, our attendees could fast track their exploration of viable solutions to fit their business needs. Attendees were able to stop by their booths to download content, meet face to face, and schedule meetings for a more organized schedule. Our attendees saw demos, client-led sessions and joined sponsor-led roundtables to combine business with important networking.
