So far, 2021 has been a record-breaking year for cybercrime. In fact, ransomware attacks have surged by over 150%

How does Intelligent Automation Bolster Cybersecurity?


By combining rules-based robotic process automation (RPA) with artificial intelligence (AI), you can automate rote cybersecurity tasks and workflows so that human cybersecurity experts can focus on high value activities.


For example, many email spam filters use machine learning techniques to identify and isolate content that is potentially malicious. Other Intelligent Automation-powered cybersecurity tools, such as intelligent firewalls and endpoint management, work by automating the collection and analysis of event data. Instead of manually testing every application across an enterprise to validate security and regulatory compliance, Intelligent Automation-powered risk-based testing tools can automate this process.


However, Intelligent Automation -enabled tools are not intended to replace human workers but, instead, augment human decision making. As Khushboo explains, “you cannot realistically get rid of the human in the loop. And that's not the idea here. Mainly, it is about making your process more efficient.”
